Security at Yas Marina Circuit is strict, and banned items are taken off you at the gate. Here is what gets in, what doesn't, and what is worth packing.

- Baby food, and food you need for medical reasons if you carry a prescription or doctor's letter.
- A small bag that fits under your seat.
- A phone camera or small camera. Lenses up to 30 cm are fine.

Our race-day packing list
- Phone, fully charged, with the official Abu Dhabi GP app and your ticket in it. Screenshots and printouts don't scan.
- A power bank. You'll use your phone all day for tickets, maps and photos.
- Ear protection, especially for children.
- Sunscreen, sunglasses and a cap for the afternoon sessions.
- A light jacket or long sleeves. Evenings by the marina are cooler and the race ends after dark.
- Comfortable shoes. You'll walk a lot between stands, the fan zones and the concert.
- Photo ID if you plan to go to a 21+ after-party.
Children
Children under 2 go in free. Everyone over 2 needs a ticket, and some areas are 12+ or 21+ only, so carry proof of age.
The rules above come from the official FAQ. For anything not listed, such as power banks or sunscreen, ask the organisers on 800-YAS (927), +971 2 497 9000 or WhatsApp +971 800 927.
